Full Time 3rd Shift Security Officer

Location: Rochester, NH

Shift: Monday - Friday, 3rd shift 11pm-7am

Rate: $18.20 / hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Overnight Security Officer to join our team in Rochester, NH. This full-time position involves patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, and ensuring the safety and security of the property and personnel during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including interior and exterior areas
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems
• Control access to buildings and grounds; verify identification of visitors
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies
• Write accurate and detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety protocols
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to obtain a NH State Guard Card (licensing for security in the State)
• Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Capable of patrolling on foot, including stairs
