Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Security Guard Officer for Saint Johns Resort. The role entails patrolling the property, monitoring entrances, and responding to incidents to ensure guest safety and property protection.

Two years in security are preferred, with a high school diploma; Peace Officer training is a plus. Full-time position offering benefits, daily pay, and employee-focused growth opportunities within SHG.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education; Peace Officer training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrols property, inside and out, during all shifts.
• Check doors and stairwells for security.
• Respond to complaints and calls for help.
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems.
• Escort unruly patrons and loiterers off the property.
• Assist with taxi arrangements for intoxicated guests.
• Complete end-of-shift security reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patrols property, inside and out during all shifts

• Respond to complaints and calls for help
• Purchase, maintain and monitor security cameras and alarm systemsEscorts unruly patrons and loiters from the property
• Assists with securing taxi for inebriated guests
• Fills out report at end of shift
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two (2) years in Security role
• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred, Peace Office training preferred

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings
