Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property. The role involves patrolling casino and outdoor areas, identifying disturbances or hazards, and taking appropriate action in emergencies.

The position requires standing and walking for a full shift, with physical demands including lifting and bending. Prior casino security experience is preferred and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to stand and walk for a full shift.
• Physical requirements include lifting, reaching, kneeling, bending, and moderate to strenuous exertion.
• Prior experience in casino security (or similar field) preferred.
• May be required to possess a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the Company and/or its insurers.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and security for guests, employees, property, and company assets.
• Circulate through casino and outdoor areas to identify disturbances, illegal activity, or safety hazards and take appropriate action.
• Respond to emergencies in accordance with laws and company policies.
• Secure all keys and related assets.
• Complete requisite paperwork related to shift activities.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
