Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, temporary position in Tacoma, Washington. This school-based role focuses on evaluating and treating students with communication disorders within IEP frameworks.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• WA state license or eligibility to obtain one.
• WA Educational Staff Associate certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• CCC- eligibility or Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.
• Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
• Fingerprint clearance with OSPI or willingness to complete.
• Two supervisory references required.
• Experience with preschool students or school-based services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide individualized and small-group speech and language therapy.
• Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Prepare evaluation and progress reports and maintain documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and MDT planning.
