Job summary

Health Advocates Network in Chester, VA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based services in a full-time, in-person role under registry with our company. The position requires a master’s in speech-language pathology and Virginia BASLP licensure.

You will collaborate with students, families, and school staff, manage IEP-related evaluations and therapy, and document services for Medicaid billing while maintaining compliance with LEA and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current license in speech pathology in Virginia (BASLP).
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents and school staff.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEPs and follow education policies.

Responsibilities

• Identify students needing speech-language evaluations and services.
• Observe and evaluate students after referrals and plan therapies.
• Follow LEA and VDOE timelines for evaluations and documentation.
• Deliver services per IEPs and monitor Medicaid billing requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of services and progress.
• Participate in IEP/ Eligibility meetings and report progress.
