Responsibilities

• Plans and implements a program of study aligned with state and district goals.
• Develops and implements the student's IEP for speech/language.
• Diagnoses needs and prescribes appropriate learning activities.
• Organizes and conducts IEP meetings and manages the IEP process.
• Assists teachers with materials, techniques and resources for students in regular classrooms.
• Maintains open communication with students and parents/guardians.
