Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Redmond, WA is hiring a School Psychologist for a full-time, in-person role for the 2026-2027 school year. This position supports students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success within a collaborative team.

The candidate must hold a Doctoral degree in School Psychology and WA ESA certification or be willing to obtain it prior to starting. Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills, plus excellent communication and collaboration abilities are

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in School Psychology required.
• Washington ESA School Psychologist Certification or willingness to obtain before start.
• Strong assessment, consultation and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• School-based experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services.
• Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, timely evaluation reports.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success.
• Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health concerns.
• Assist with behavior intervention plans and positive behavioral supports.
• Support crisis intervention and problem-solving efforts as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with federal, state, and district regulations.
