Job summary

ADAPT Community Network seeks a School Psychologist for its Brooklyn School Age Program to perform evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for children with developmental disabilities. This full-time, 12-month role runs Monday–Friday from 8am to 3pm and requires NYSED School Psychologist Certification and a Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology.
• NYSED School Psychologist Certification.
• At least one year of experience with developmentally disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

• Provides psychological assessment annually in areas of intelligence and adaptive behavior.
• Develops a treatment plan and goals based on assessment.
• Provides psychological services per treatment plan (behavior management, counseling, crisis intervention).
• Integrates intervention techniques with the home and school staff through collaboration.
