Job summary

CBSD is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for the 2026/2027 school year at Kutz Elementary School. The role is full-time with benefits and requires working 10 months during student days, with exact hours TBD.

Base pay is $20.84 per hour, with potential add-ons for toileting needs as described. Responsibilities include assisting a student with various needs in the classroom and during specials, lunch, and recess, while maintaining safety and positive behavior support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required at hire.
• Must work as a team member, exercise good judgment, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with students and adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to a student with autism, behavioral needs, or other needs in classroom settings.
• Assist with daily activities and academic/social tasks; provide grooming and personal care support as needed.
• Follow crisis prevention techniques and participate in training; work within the IEP requirements.
