Job summary

The Evanston/Skokie School District 65 is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and treat students across Walker Elementary, Orrington Elementary and Chute Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is full-time, on-site, and reports to the Director of Student Specialized Services.

The therapist will plan interventions, document progress, and support accessibility and student placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Administers occupational therapy procedures and modalities to achieve program objectives.
• Assesses students' motor skills and functional abilities for eligibility and treatment planning.
• Consults with teachers, parents and staff to coordinate services and develop plans.
• Maintains files and records for reference and compliance.
• Participates in meetings and trainings related to IEPs and team decisions.
• Prepares written materials such as logs, treatment plans and reports.
• Provide occupational therapy to children with disabilities in educational settings and help develop daily living skills.
