Qualifications

• Possess or qualify for immediate issuance of a WA State Educational Staff Associate certificate endorsed as an Occupational Therapist.
• BS degree from an American Occupational Therapy Association approved program.
• Possess a valid license as an occupational therapist in Washington State.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and schedule caseload with the school team.
• Adapt/modify equipment/materials for students with motor disabilities.
• Complete special education paperwork including evaluation reports and IEPs.
• Participate in referral/evaluation/reevaluation to determine services.
• Direct the activities of assigned non-certificated personnel.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development activities as required.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide services in general education classrooms.
