Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for Thomas Jefferson School in Saint Louis, MO. The role supports the Executive Chef, coordinates cooks, and leads kitchen operations during shifts.

Expect 8:30 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with a focus on quality food preparation, timely production, and adherence to safety standards. Immediate hire and competitive hourly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous cook and prep cooking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling, payroll, and training.
• Stores food in designated areas following sanitation procedures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils in the kitchen.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them to staff and customers.
