Job summary

FLIK Independent School Dining is seeking a full-time Cook at Wayland Academy in Beaver Dam, WI. The role includes preparing meals per recipes, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting service schedules.

We offer free meals, uniforms and laundering for select locations, plus an internal employee referral bonus. Previous cooking experience is required; the schedule runs 10:00 am–8:00 pm, Monday through Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring proper temperatures and attractive presentation.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains cleanliness and stores or discards excess food per safety rules.
• Maintains refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat; ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed; assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies.
