Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to hear, understand and follow oral instructions in English.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English at a 6th grade level.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a custodial team.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned cleaning and custodial tasks per supervisor schedule.
• Use approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment as per GCPS policies.
• Maintain custodial tools and equipment in clean, sanitary, and safe condition.
• Open and secure assigned facilities or grounds as instructed.
• Suggest alternative cleaning methods and assist evaluations for efficiency.
• Maintain positive relationships with staff and teammates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
