Qualifications

• Standard high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Willing to work in undesirable locations/conditions.
• Follow written and oral instructions and complete assignments on time.

Responsibilities

• Accept direction from Head Custodian, Supervisor, or Administrator.
• Perform custodial and preventative maintenance duties.
• Clean woodwork, walls, furniture, and windows with approved products.
• Mop, scrub, wax, shampoo, vacuum, and spot-clean floors and carpet.
• Climb and clean multilevel stairwells; use ladders as needed.
• Lift and move heavy objects; perform physical tasks as required.
• Maintain supplies inventory; restock and order as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment and ensure safety procedures.
