Brusly Middle School in Brusly, Louisiana seeks a diligent Custodian/Janitor (Full time) to maintain classrooms, offices, restrooms, and school facilities. Under supervision of the Principal, you will perform cleaning, light maintenance, and set up spaces for meetings and events.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, custodial experience preferred, physical stamina, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Cleans, vacuums, and dusts classrooms, offices and restrooms; washes windows, empties trash, dusts and polishes furniture.
Clean glass removing smudges and fingerprints.
Wash entrance glass on interior and exterior doors.
Spot clean carpets monthly and sweep/vacuum floors.
Maintain grounds and sweep pavement; clean gutters.
Change light bulbs and ceiling tiles as needed.
Move desks and furniture; stock offices and restrooms with supplies.
Maintain records of work performed; unload incoming supplies.
Prepare facilities for meetings and related functions; lock/unlock facilities as needed.
Assist cafeteria staff with custodial tasks.
Provide courteous service to all customers and support teamwork.
