DeKalb County Central United School District is seeking a Custodian for DeKalb Middle School in Waterloo, Indiana. The role supports facility cleanliness and safety, with a 40-hour workweek and a half-hour meal break.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom cleaning, window washing, and assisting in supplies distribution. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to perform physical tasks, and safely handle hazardous chemicals.

Formación

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy manual tasks.
• Safe handling of hazardous chemicals; MSDS knowledge helpful.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and seal floors.
• Clean restrooms, locker rooms, and showers.
• Dust, wash, and polish furniture and woodwork.
• Move and arrange furniture for events or meetings.
• Replace light bulbs and lighting tubes; clean windows and walls.
• Assist in receiving and distributing supplies and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, secure school facility on a 40-hour weekly schedule.
