Job summary

Interlachen Jr - Sr High School is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean, safe and functional facility for students and staff on an eight-hour shift across a twelve-month schedule. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, minor repairs, and assisting with event setup.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), a Florida driver’s license, and a satisfactory background check. Prior custodial experience is preferred and the district supports a collaborative team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.
• Prior custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitary, safe, and attractive facilities for students, staff and public.
• Prepare facilities for daily operations and events.
• Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.
• Oversee and guide students assigned to cafeteria or duties as required.
• Respond to safety or operational concerns to keep the school environment secure.
