Job summary

Southwest Local Schools is seeking a full-time School Bus Driver in Cincinnati, OH. The driver will transport students to school and on field trips, working under the Director of Operations and the Assistant Director of Transportation.

Hours are 6-hour shifts, 5:45am–9:00am and 2:00pm–4:45pm, with CDL/ODE credentials preferred and a commitment to student safety and positive community relations. Candidate must have a High School Diploma; CDL transportation experience and Ohio ODE license are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• CDL transportation experience recommended.
• Valid certificate/license issued by the Ohio Department of Education is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and on field trips.
• Collaborate with supervisors, mechanics, and school staff to ensure safe transportation.
• Maintain discipline and a positive environment on the bus.
• Complete required paperwork and reports per state and district policies.
• Attend internal/external training related to pupil transportation.
