Job summary

Point Quest Group is hiring a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to K-12 students in LaPorte, Indiana. You will assess, plan, and deliver direct speech therapy aligned with IEP goals, collaborating with teachers and families to maximize student communication outcomes.

Candidates must hold a current Indiana SLP license (or eligibility), pass background checks, and have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in Indiana or eligibility to obtain.
• Criminal and DCS background checks required.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• One year of experience in speech therapy (clinical fellows welcome).
• Department of Education certification.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs.
• Experience with school-based caseload management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).
