Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based role in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the 2026-2027 school year. The OT will evaluate and support Pre-K–12 students with a focus on fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-motor, and self-care skills to enhance classroom participation.

You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams, develop IEP goals, implement plans, and ensure compliance with IEP/IDEA processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/OTD/PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current NBCOT certification
• Active or eligible for Oklahoma OT licensure
• Experience with children or school-aged students
• School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of sensory processing and integration
• Understanding of IEPs, IDEA and school-based OT services

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT services to students individually, in groups, and in classrooms
• Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and assessments
• Develop measurable IEP goals based on evaluations
• Create and implement individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support participation and independence
• Identify and address fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-motor, self-care and regulatory needs
• Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust interventions accordingly
• Participate in IEP and team meetings and document records
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district policies and state requirements
