Qualifications

• Active state-level licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate disorders and delays that affect students’ abilities to perform daily activities and educational tasks.
• Develop or improve individuals’ ability to independently perform tasks.
• Serve as a member of the IEP team for OT concerns and participate in goal setting.
• Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan.
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with school personnel and parents to develop suitable programs.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents.
• Perform other OT duties within licensure and program scope.
