Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School-Based Sign Language Interpreter for the 2026-2027 school year in the greater Eugene, OR area. The position is full-time and in-person, serving DHH students with a collaborative team.

We offer competitive pay at $40-45/hour, W-2 employment with liability insurance, 401(k) with company match, licensure and CEU reimbursements, mileage between sites, and strong mentorship from experienced school-based professionals.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Hold EIPA score 3.0 or higher, RID certification, OR NAD Level III certification.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide sign language interpretation in a school-based setting.
• Work full-time in-person with a team that includes DHH students.
• Collaborate with educators and therapists to support communication access.
