Job summary

Canteen in Vista, CA is hiring for a full-time Route Driver - SmartService. The role drives a company vehicle on an established route to deliver products, maintain inventory levels for vending machines, and provide top-notch customer service to clients.

Schedule is five days a week with 3:00 am starts and weekends; training is provided. A valid driver’s license is required and three years of driving experience is preferred. The position offers benefits and a fixed pay rate of $22.08 per hour.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle over established route to deliver products.
• Maintain inventory levels for vending machines.
• Load hand cart with totes of product and load machines, then return to truck.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at client locations for vending machines.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Report defective equipment and coordinate with maintenance/dispatch.
• Maintain accurate machine product and inventory data via handheld computer.
