As a Room Attendant for High Hotels LTD., you will be responsible for performing routine duties to ensure the high standards of cleanliness and service for the hotel and the brand are met. Room Attendants should take pride in providing exceptional guest experiences by ensuring the hotel guest rooms and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Room Attendant team members could spend their days in various areas of the housekeeping department including laundry, common area cleaning, and room cleaning.

This position will be primarily located at the Hampton Inn & Suites on South Queen St. in York, PA.

This position is Full-Time (5 days per week) with hours: 8:00AM-4:30PM on weekdays & 8:00AM-5:30PM on weekends.

Must have availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Please Note: shift end times will vary based on occupancy rate and workload.

Weekend shift premium: $2/hr.

Starting Rate: $16.99/hr. - $17.30/hr., depending on experience.

Areas of Responsibility for Our Room Attendants Include:

• Cleaning guest rooms and common areas according to brand standards within designated timeframes.
• Vacuuming carpets and furniture.
• Cleaning and dusting furniture.
• Cleaning kitchenettes and washing dishes in suites.
• Changing bed linens.
• Cleaning guest room bathrooms.
• Cleaning high-touch areas to meet brand standards.
• Assisting in laundry: washing, drying, folding, and sorting laundry.
• Maintaining linen carts and organizing supplies.
• Ensuring security and guest privacy.

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
