Branch Group is seeking a reliable General Laborer for our civil division to support heavy highway construction projects. The role involves manual labor, following directions, and maintaining safety on-site.

Ideal candidates will be able to work with minimal supervision while following project instructions. This is a full-time position with 40+ hours per week, focusing on physical tasks and teamwork on dynamic construction sites.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack materials, and set up equipment.
• Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor.
• Direct traffic safely around the site.
• Use construction tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Follow health and safety procedures and report violations.
• Operate tools such as pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, and grinders.
• Load and unload supplies from trucks manually or with equipment.
• Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, and exposing utilities.
• Clean debris and hazardous materials from the site.
• Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly.
