Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and how to involve patients and families in care planning.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Strong communication skills to convey information and collaborate with patients, families, and care partners.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning.
• Education of patients and families about conditions, treatments and discharge steps.
• Understanding of medication administration and patient safety in care settings.
