What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and direct retail associates, conduct store audits, and execute all retail projects.
  • Maintain Client objectives by ensuring products are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships including work appointments.
  • Monitor and regulate expenses in accordance with team and position budgets.
  • Perform accurate and timely communication, administrative, and coaching duties with direct reports.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree Preferred.
  • 4 years of applicable retail experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple duties with frequent changes and deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Position Summary

The Retail Supervisor (RS) is responsible for achieving and maintaining all Client and Customer standards by overseeing and directing activities of Retail Sales Representatives and Merchandisers within an assigned territory. This role involves working closely with Business Development Managers, Clients, Store Managers, and retail personnel to meet retail business objectives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work on the achievement of in-store retail excellence goals by building goodwill with trade and Clients, ensuring timely new item placement, and completing retail projects.
  • Manage and direct retail personnel, conduct store audits, and execute retail projects to meet Client goals.
  • Increase brand representation and effectiveness by establishing and maintaining relationships with trade and Clients, including conducting Client work with appointments.
  • Ensure Client objectives are met by maintaining product stock levels, signing, facings, and schematic compliance.
  • Work on the placement of new items in authorized stores to meet business objectives.
  • Authorize items to meet Client shelf schematic standards.
  • Oversee call coverage by scheduling merchandisers and reviewing reports.
  • Manage budgeting and expenses, aiming to stay under budget and control costs effectively.
  • Complete accurate and timely reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, and expense reports.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Hires, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools, and resources. May delegate work to others and provide guidance and mentoring to indirect reports.

Travel and/or Driving Requirements

Travel up to 30% is essential for this role.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: Required: Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Field of Study/Experience: 4 years of applicable experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Internet use.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Work may be performed in office, field, retail store, or warehouse environments. Must be able to spend 66%+ of work hours engaging in physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working in cold conditions. Travel and driving are also required. Proper safety practices are essential.
