Job summary

Advantage Solutions is seeking a Full Time Retail Supervisor to lead and develop a team of store associates across assigned Indiana markets. You will ensure merchandising standards, execute client directives, and manage audits, scheduling, and reporting to drive in-store performance.

You'll collaborate with Business Development Managers and Retail Managers to meet objectives, control expenses, and maintain strong client relationships while coaching staff for growth and consistent results.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years of applicable retail experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Travel up to 30% may be required to support client objectives.

Responsibilities

Summary

Our Retail Merchandising Team seeks a competitive and ambitious Supervisor with proven experience managing and motivating associates, increasing sales, and merchandising. The Retail Supervisor is responsible for achieving and maintaining all client and customer standards by overseeing and directing the activities of associates within assigned territories. The ideal candidate works closely with Business Development Managers, Brands, Retail Managers, and other retail personnel to ensure business objectives are met.

What You'll Do

• Manage and direct retail associates, conduct store audits, and execute retail projects.
• Maintain client objectives by ensuring products are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics.
• Establish and maintain client relationships and work appointments.
• Consistently monitor and actively regulate expenses with regard to position and team budget standards.
• Provide accurate and timely communication, administrative, and coaching duties with direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Build goodwill with the trade and clients, meet in‑store retail excellence goals, and complete retail projects.
• Conduct store audits and mandatory mandates by supervising retail personnel.
• Increase brand representation through relationship building and appointment work.
• Ensure mandatory mandatory mandatory compliance with mandatory mandatory mandatory compliance with schematics and mandatory mandatory mandatory compliance with schematic standards.
• Manage call coverage by scheduling merchandisers and reviewing reports.
• Control budgeting and expenses to stay under budget and manage expense control.
• Complete accurate, timely paperwork and reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, and related items.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Hire, retain, train, coach, and develop direct reports using company tools and resources.
• Delegate work from others and provide guidance, direction, and mentoring to indirect reports.

Travel and/or Driving Requirements

Essential duties include travel and driving, up to 30% of working time.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required.
• 4 years of applicable retail experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and able to handle a fast‑paced work environment.
• Independent work ability.
• Basic computer skills, familiarity with Word, Excel, and internet usage.
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Incumbent must perform essential functions in office, field, retail store, or warehouse environments. Requires physical activity, lifting or pushing up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and occasional work in very cold conditions. Proper safety practices are essential.
