We are located in New York's JFK International Airport (Terminals 1, 5, and 8); Boston's Logan International Airport (Terminals A, B, C, and E); Washington DC's Dulles International Airport (Terminal B); Baltimore's Thurgood Marshall Airport (Concourse A-B); Connecticut's Bradley International Airport (Main Terminal); and Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (Terminal D). Our corporate office and warehouse are in Valley Stream, NY.

Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Retail Sales Supervisor responsible for managing designated areas, working with terminal/department management and associates to drive sales and ensure high customer service standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the store in the absence of management, demonstrating sales and customer service skills
• Supervise sales associates in generating sales, store housekeeping, loss prevention, merchandising, pricing, and cash register operations (POS)
• Adhere to U.S. Customs regulations and all company policies
• Resolve client concerns professionally
• Administer coaching, counseling, corrective actions, and documentation for associates
• Model professionalism, ethical behavior, and effective decision-making
• Delegate tasks and follow up for completion
• Observe and provide feedback on associate performance
• Motivate associates to perform at high levels
• Train employees to interact professionally with clients

Education & Experience:

• At least 3 years of retail experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory/managerial experience
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills (active listening, verbal communication, assertiveness)
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus (Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, French, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish)

Requirements:

• Professional appearance when interacting with clients
• Team player
• Participation in semi-annual inventory
• Pass airport security background check

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 25 lbs
• Stand and/or walk for 8 hours per shift
• Bend, kneel, and stoop as needed
