Job summary

DAK's Market in Lancaster, TX is hiring a cashier/sales associate for our fast-paced convenience stores network. You will ring up customers quickly, assist with merchandising, and help maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED recommended.
• Some retail experience recommended.
• Cash handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Cash out customers with a smile while engaging them in their store experience.
• Maintain the store's appearance inside and outside.
• Keep countertops well organized and wiped down.
• Maintain restrooms, stock toiletries and ensure cleanliness.
• Follow company customer service and experience guidelines.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate guidelines and maintain cash levels.
• Report faulty equipment to management promptly.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Stores are open 7 days a week and 24 hours; weekend/holiday shifts required.
• Reliable transportation to/from the store and authorization to work in the USA.
