Job summary

ALDI USA in Indiana seeks a Store Associate to merchandise, stock, cashier, and clean, delivering outstanding customer service. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to maintain a clean, well-stocked store and ensure accurate checkout processes.

Starting wage is $19.00 per hour with scheduled increases over the next years. Must be able to work 30+ hours weekly and meet availability requirements. Full-time benefits apply, including health insurance and retirement plans.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary
• Informs management of loss due to outdated or damaged products
• Uses POS system to scan and process purchases accurately
• Adheres to cash policies and opening additional check lanes as needed for efficient checkout
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and timely
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times
• Supports management in achieving operational efficiency and loss goals
• Maintains a safe working environment by identifying hazards and ensuring equipment is in working order
• Adheres to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards
