Job summary

Lowry Hills Care and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide essential respiratory care in our skilled nursing facility. You will assess, manage, and treat residents with respiratory issues using modalities such as Acapella, IS, EZPAP, and CPT, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds current state licensure, CRT or RRT, ACLS and BLS certification, and a commitment to compassionate patient education.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy
• Possesses and maintains an active CRT or RRT credential
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of pulmonary care within therapist scope and licensure
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and monitors effects
• Assess pain and participation to guide rehabilitation
• Maintains infection control and equipment sterilization
• Documents data in medical records after pulmonary interventions
• Operates and checks respiratory equipment for safe function
• Formulates care plans based on learning needs and involves family
• Demonstrates ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes
• Participates in education and training to maintain competency
• Oversees daily shift operations and coordinates with nursing staff
• Remain proficient in PFTs and bronchoscopes, as applicable
