Job summary

Trinity Health’s Saint Mary’s Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory care and support critical patient needs. The role emphasizes independent clinical judgment and collaboration with physicians and health-care staff.

Responsibilities include operating ventilators and non-invasive devices, and ensuring high-quality patient care. This full-time 36-hour schedule includes a 7a–7p day shift with competitive shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent.
• Current CT Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• RRT or CRT NBRC certification preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of respiratory care procedures and patient care techniques.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care as part of the Respiratory Care Department.
• Provide clinical judgment in delivery of patient care.
• Serve as technical resource to physicians and staff on respiratory care practices.
• Set up and operate respiratory equipment including ventilators, NIPPV/CPAP, and high-flow devices.
