Job summary

Honey Homes in Austin is hiring a skilled handyman or maintenance technician for full-time, W2 work with steady hours and great benefits. You’ll handle residential repairs and maintenance close to home with a dedicated team and a predictable schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:30am–5pm), no evenings or weekends.

With 5+ years of multi-trade experience, you’ll perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and more across local homes, using your own tools and a company app to track orders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as handyman, maintenance technician, carpenter, remodeler, or related multi-trade residential role.
• Skilled across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall with strong troubleshooting ability.
• Attention to detail and a customer-friendly attitude in clients' homes.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, own tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, work on ladders/overhead spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential home repair, maintenance, and remodel work across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall).
• Keep home systems and appliances on a preventive maintenance schedule for route homes.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build trust in members' homes.
• Use the company app to track jobs, tasks, and schedules.
• Collaborate with Field Manager and support teams to ensure quality service.
