Job summary

Honey Homes in Austin, TX is hiring a full-time handyman/maintenance technician with 5+ years of multi-trade experience for steady, local work within a dedicated territory near your home.

You'll perform residential repair and remodeling across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and drywall, follow a 40-hour week Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm, and enjoy 100% paid health, vision and dental, plus holidays and PTO. No evenings, weekends, or on-call obligations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands on experience in handyman, maintenance technician, carpenter, remodeler, or similar multi-trade residential role.
• Skilled across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall, with strong troubleshooting ability.
• Attention to detail and customer-friendly attitude; trustworthy in clients' homes.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and your own tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, work on ladders/overhead, and in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential home repair, maintenance, and remodel work across multiple trades: carpentry, painting and drywall, plumbing, electrical, and smart-home device installation.
• Keep home systems and appliances on a preventive maintenance schedule.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships in clients’ homes.
• Use the company app to track jobs, tasks, and schedules.
