Job summary

Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich, MA is seeking a compassionate Smoking Attendant for a full-time 9a-5p shift. You will maintain a safe, clean designated smoking area and assist residents with smoking and transport to the area.

The role requires a high school diploma, English fluency, and the ability to work independently with tact and patience; CNA license is preferred but not required, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• On-the-job training provided.
• CNA license preferred, but not necessary.
• Must read/write/speak/understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions and interact tactfully.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with smoking, lighting materials, and transporting them to and from the designated smoking area.
• Maintain a clean designated smoking area for residents.
• Transport residents to and from the smoking area, ensuring their safety.
• Demonstrate correct safety techniques and respect facility equipment and supplies.
• Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions.
