Acts Intuitively Therapy in Staten Island, NY seeks a full-time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. You will assess patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to improve mobility and quality of life after illness or injury.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, provide in-home care when needed, and educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited institution.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy, permitting practice in New York.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills.
• Ability to build and sustain strong relationships with patients.
• Genuine passion for connecting with individuals through therapy.

Acts Intuitively Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Staten Island, New York. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Staten Island, New York. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and resources, creating an ideal setting for patient care and team collaboration. This full-time role entails a consistent 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while being fully engaged with your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, ensuring the development of comprehensive and effective treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the distinct needs of each patient, aiding in their recovery trajectory.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, fostering positive interactions with patients and their families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and contribute to their overall care strategy.
• Provide in-home therapeutic care when necessary, applying relevant techniques and procedures to support patients' functional health as recommended by their physicians.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques that enhance their healing process.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and adhere to other performance metrics established by the organization to maintain operational excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine diagnoses. This variety requires you to adapt your treatment strategies to effectively meet the specific rehabilitation goals of each patient, promoting their recovery in a holistic manner.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited institution.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy, permitting practice in New York.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective exchanges with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills for documentation and management purposes.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
