Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our outpatient clinic in Forest Hills. The clinic features modern facilities equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and equipment, allowing for the delivery of high-quality care. You will join a team of experienced professionals committed to maintaining a balanced workload and a friendly environment. Your weekly schedule will typically be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, accommodating a manageable patient caseload of approximately 6 to 7 patients per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical health status, rehabilitation needs, and functional limitations.
• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans based on individual assessments that focus on improving mobility, reducing discomfort, and facilitating a return to daily activities.
• Utilizing hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise routines, and various evidence-based interventions to promote healing and recovery.
• Educating patients regarding injury prevention strategies, mobility enhancement techniques, and self-care practices to support ongoing health and recovery.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress, ensuring treatment methodologies are adjusted as necessary for optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, which includes orthopedic surgeons and other specialists, to develop cohesive care strategies for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse population with a wide array of orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain syndromes, and age-related mobility issues. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the State of New York.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
