Job summary

Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab, part of Caldera Care, is hiring RNs for FT Eve/NOC shifts in Spokane Valley. Join a team dedicated to compassionate resident care and clinical excellence.

As an RN you will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, conduct assessments, educate residents and families, collaborate with the care team, and support admissions, transfers, and discharges on a busy unit.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license.
• Multistate licenses require 6-Hour Suicide Prevention Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients on assigned unit.
• Administer and record medications/treatments as offered.
• Complete nursing assessments, evaluations, progress notes, and alert charting as necessary.
• Educates and provides health care instructions to residents/families as necessary.
• Collaborates with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients as necessary.
• Communicate with providers and nurse management regarding patients' condition, changes, medications, vitals, etc.
• Provide direct care to residents as needed.
• Direct unit staff as necessary.
• Report to direct supervisor all resident and staff issues/concerns as needed.
• Charge Nurse as scheduled.

Pay Range: $45-53

FT Position

RN Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients on assigned unit
• Administer and record medications/treatments as offered
• Complete nursing assessments, evaluations, progress notes, and alert charting as necessary
• Educates and provides health care instructions to residents/families as necessary
• Collaborates with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients as necessary
• Communicate with providers and nurse management regarding patients' condition, changes, medications, vitals, etc.
• Provide direct care to residents as needed
• Direct unit staff as necessary
• Report to direct supervisor (Unit Nurse Manager) all resident and staff issues/concerns as needed
• Charge Nurse as scheduled

RN Qualifications and Skills:

• Current and valid RN license
  • Multistate licenses must be accompanied by 6-Hour Suicide Prevention Certificate
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
• First aid and CPR certifications
