Job summary

SIHF Healthcare in Granite City, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time role. You will manage patient flow, assist during exams, and provide education and support to patients and families within a comprehensive care team.

The position requires an IL RN license, BLS certification, and experience in clinical nursing. Normal hours are Monday–Friday days, with a full range of benefits offered by SIHF Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Illinois (IL).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide individualized nursing care per provider's treatment plan.
• Assess vital signs, patient history and current medications.
• Establish rapport with patients and families.
• Educate patients using diagnosis-based materials and teaching resources.
• Obtain informed consent and releases as required.
• Assist with examinations and procedures; provide support and safety.
• Coordinate referrals to support services as needed.
