Job summary

Elior North America seeks a Full-Time Registered Dietitian to join the Cura Hospitality healthcare team in Whitfield, MS. You will assess nutritional needs, plan interventions, and improve patients’ quality of life in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include educating staff and patients, adhering to standards, and collaborating with dining and nutrition departments to support quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.
• Nice-to-haves: Experience working in healthcare or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Providing nutritional expertise to healthcare teams and educating patients, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participating in development, review, and revision of quality improvement programs.
