Your Day at Lowe's

As a Receiver/Stocker, you keep our stores clean and presentable. You unload merchandise from incoming freight, move it to the sales floor, and stock shelves, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.

This role is physically demanding; understanding proper lifting procedures and being prepared to move merchandise is essential. You will also replace damaged shelving, organize the backroom, handle hazardous materials, and ensure equipment is charged.

While most activities don't involve customer interaction, you may assist customers and handle merchandise when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure products are accurately received, stocked, and replenished.
• Follow proper lifting guidelines to safely stock products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Engage positively with customers, vendors, and associates.
• Report safety or security concerns.
• Adhere to safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to communicate verbally and listen effectively.
• Proficiency with smartphones and retail technology.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.
• Experience in warehouse inventory handling and stocking.
