Your Day at Lowe's
As a Receiver/Stocker, you keep our stores clean and presentable to improve customers' shopping experience. You ensure merchandise is accurately received and replenished by safely unloading freight, moving items to the sales floor, and stocking shelves.
This role is physically demanding. You should understand proper lifting procedures and be prepared to move merchandise most of your shift. You will also replace damaged shelving, keep the backroom organized, handle hazardous materials, and ensure equipment is charged.
While most of your time involves activities without customer interaction, you may be asked to answer questions and assist with merchandise.

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or supporting other stores.
Working Conditions
Environmental factors vary. You may work indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, wet, humid, or windy. Exposure to noise and moving equipment is possible. Proper lifting methods should be followed, with a maximum single lift of 75 pounds. Team lifts are used for heavier loads, and powered equipment should be used with proper training.
