Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a full-time role within Temple Faculty Physicians in Philadelphia. The technologist will perform radiologic procedures, prepare and operate radiographic equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining radiology records in the EHR system.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or Equivalent, completion of a two-year AMA-approved radiologic technology program, and at least 1 year of Radiology Technologist

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Non Degree Program Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program Required
1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required
Reg Technologist (R) Required
Basic Life Support Required

Responsibilities

Performs and/or assists with various types of radiologic procedures, following protocols established by radiologists.
Prepares, maintains, and operates radiographic equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Explains procedures to patients, positions patients and equipment, develops films, and maintains and operates specialized radiologic equipment in accordance with care standards.
