Job summary

ChristianaCare, a nonprofit health system, is seeking a Full Time Radiologic Technologist for The Christiana Hospital Imaging Department in Newark, DE. The position includes a Day Shift with 40 hours per week, and occasional weekend/evening coverage as described.

The successful candidate will operate radiographic equipment, develop and identify radiographs, cover ED/OR/Surgi center/Portables/Fluoro, train students, and perform QC on PACS and CR/DR systems.

Qualifications

• AR R T Registered Technologist required.
• Delaware license (state).
• Certification in CPR.
• RT Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment.
• Developing and identifying radiographs; proper identification of film, date and time.
• Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro.
• Assisting with the training of radiology technology students.
• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems.
• Operating equipment: Phillips, Siemens, Carestream and Canon.
