Job summary

Adventist Health Mendocino County seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment, position patients, and adjust exposure settings for accurate radiographs in a busy clinical setting.

ARRT-R radiography certification and BLS are required; eligible rehires and external hires may qualify for a $20,000 hiring incentive and $5,000 relocation assistance.

Job description

Up to $20,000 hiring incentive and $5,000 relocation available for eligible rehires and external hires who meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Located where miles of breathtaking ocean views meet dense coastal forests, Adventist Health Mendocino County has a rich history serving community members on the coast since 1971.

We are comprised of a 25-bed critical access hospital and offer a range of services in Fort Bragg. With whale watching, fishing, hiking trails and many more outdoor adventures readily available, this coastal region is a place to immerse yourself in its landscape and history.

Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of body as ordered by physicians. Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines proper voltage as well as current and desired exposure time for each radiograph.

Education and Work Experience

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€\" Radiography (ARRT-R): RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy:

• Prepares equipment for use as needed. Documents exam information. Reports important information to the physician.
