Job summary

Adventist Health Mendocino County is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographs and support diagnostic imaging services in a community hospital setting.

Required ARRT-R certification, BLS, and adherence to Adventist Health policies. Eligible rehires and external hires may receive a hiring incentive up to $20,000 and relocation assistance up to $5,000.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor is required per policy.
• Relevant imaging experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs per physician orders.
• Position patients and adjust exposure settings to obtain quality diagnostic images.

Job description

Up to $20,000 hiring incentive and $5,000 relocation available for eligible rehires and external hires who meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of body as ordered by physicians. Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines proper voltage as well as current and desired exposure time for each radiograph.

Education and Work Experience

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R): RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy

Facility Specific License/Certifications

• Prepares equipment for use as needed. Documents exam information. Reports important information to the physician.
