Job summary

Adventist Health Mendocino County is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment, position patients, and produce diagnostic radiographs in Fort Bragg. You will prepare patients and equipment, ensuring optimal exposure settings for quality images.

Required ARRT-R Radiography and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Vaccination compliance and E-Verify participation are required; relocation incentive up to $5,000 and hiring incentive up to $20,000 are available for eligible

Job description

Up to $20,000 hiring incentive and $5,000 relocation available for eligible rehires and external hires who meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of body as ordered by physicians. Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines proper voltage as well as current and desired exposure time for each radiograph.

Education and Work Experience

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€\" Radiography (ARRT-R): RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy:

Facility Specific License/Certifications

• Prepares equipment for use as needed. Documents exam information. Reports important information to the physician.
