Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Must be detail oriented and understand QA procedures.
• Willing to learn new skills and demonstrate capability unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiation Oncology staff with daily QA measures under supervision of physics/therapy staff.
• Generate templated QA reports indicating completion and adherence with standards.
• Assist with machine QA related to morning warm up procedures.
• Distribute supplies for radiation therapy treatment and QA tasks, and assist with beam calibration activities.
• Participate in beam collection activities and assist with data reporting as directed.
• Assist with setup procedures under supervision of Radiation Therapy staff.
• Participate in Radiation Oncology meetings and teaching sessions as directed.
• Assist with routine calibration of Radiation Oncology equipment.
